WORCESTER HUNGER INITIATIVES
Worcester Hunger InitiativesMayor Joe O’Brien and Superintendent Dr. Melinda Boone join to support Worcester Hunger Initiatives. The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts announced the awarding of a $354,375 grant to reduce hunger and improve access to nutritious foods in Worcester.

Our Focus Statement

Wawecus Road School will participate in a school wide coordinated effort to have all students demonstrate measurable growth in their ability to effectively communicate through writing. This will be achieved by the implementation of the 6 Traits writing model and measured by MCAS, MAP, DRA, DIBELS, and 6 Traits writing rubrics.
